Pink is my favorite color—in general, but especially for eyeshadow looks. I’ve amassed quite a few pink eyeshadows and eyeshadow palettes over the years. Seeing as February is the time of all things pink (and red, and maybe even purple?) I’m sharing the best pink eyeshadow palettes for dark skin just in time for all your Galentine’s and Valentine’s Day looks.
ColourPop Ooh La La
The original. My first Pink eyeshadow palette, and the one that got me hooked on monochromatic eye looks in general. Like all ColourPop items, you’re going to get affordability. This palette is $12 so it’s great for someone thinking about trying out the pink shadow look without breaking the bank. That being said, it’s an inexpensive palette after all. The shadows are a tad bit crumbly and I’ve lost a shade that fell out of the pan, so this is probably not the palette that you want to travel with. However, the palette comes with a mirror, which is always a plus. On top of that I feel like the shade combination covers everything you’d need: plums, hot pinks, soft mauves, and some shimmery golds for an inner corner highlight.
Juvia’s Place The Berries
When it comes to Juvia’s Place, you know you’re going to get pigment. That’s no different here. Like the ColourPop palette, you are also getting affordability, but in this case it comes at the expense of a mirror. This palette comes with two shimmer shades and four matte shades. You can pull off a dark, smokey eye look because of the deep plum shade, and of course a nice hot pink look because of the berries.
Huda Beauty Mauve Obsessions
This Huda Beauty palette wins when it comes to compactness and travel-friendliness. I pretty much get use out of every shade in this palette with the exception of the off-white shade. The shadows are super blendable and buildable. Out of the nine shades, this palette only has three shimmers which makes it a great contender for a pink soft glam shadow look.
Pat McGrath Rose Decadence
Last, but certainly not least. Of course, with any Pat McGrath product, you’re dropping a little extra cash because you’re getting a lot of luxe. Because this is a half size palette, it’s a little less expensive. Also, for some time it was on sale at Sephora for $32.50 which in my opinion is a steal! This palette leans more towards shimmers, as it comes with only two matte shades. But I appreciate the fact that there is a gold shade because it makes it less likely that I’d need to reach for another palette for an inner corner or brow bone highlight.
