This year for my birthday, my friends put together the ultimate surprise: #13DaysofEni. Each day of March leading up to my March 13th birthday, I was surprised with a gift from an anonymous sender. Early on in the 13 days, door dash ruined part of the surprise when it listed the name of the friend who sent one of the gifts, but that still did not prepare me for what I learned on the last day—that more than one friend, in fact, many friends from different segments and eras of my life had come together for this surprise. Obviously this requires a high level of planning and organization, from coming up with ideas (I admit I am a hard person to get gifts for) to timing the gifts so they don’t all arrive at once. So I’m sharing this recap of my 13 Days of Eni in the hopes that it inspires a birthday surprise idea for friends and loved ones.

That concludes the #13DaysofEni gifts that I received and this blog post. Words can’t express how grateful I am for friends who went out of their way to do this for me. Between this and my birthday brunch, this birthday goes down as one of the top birthdays I’ve ever experienced. I hope you get to experience something like this or surprise your friend with the same!
