Skincare Products I’ve Been Loving Lately

The world of skincare can be overwhelming. Especially when it feels like there is a new product released every other week. However, I’ve had some time and a need to try out new products and I’ve been reaching for them more and even buying refills of a few. Most, if not all, of these products are new to me, not new to the world. Here are the skincare products that I’ve been loving lately.

Rosen Skincare Smoothie Cleanser and Tropics Toner

Rosen is a Black owned skincare brand that (in full transparency) sent over some of their products for a routine to combat hyperpigmentation. Also in full transparency, I’ll be sharing my thoughts on their full line at a later date, but I truly have come to love this cleanser and toner especially. They hydrate the skin and they leave no tingling sensation unlike many other intense skincare products. I can’t say much about how they work on acne scars yet, since I’ve only been using for a week or two. But when I use them I truly feel like my skin is clean, refreshed, and hydrated.

Dr Dennis Gross Extra Strength Daily Peel Pads

I had heard a lot of great things about these peel pads and decided to take the plunge and purchase them after the recommendation of a specific friend on Instagram. These are so good. Much of the hype is warranted. I will say it works best when I use it in the evening. Additionally and unsurprisingly for the “extra strength” version, they are STRONG. Even though it supposedly can be used daily, at this point I only use it once a week during my at home facial routine. But honey, the glow I see the following morning speaks for itself.

Krave Beauty Great Barrier Relief Serum

I’m not new to this product, but I definitely didn’t give it the hype it deserved. Barrier relief? I don’t need that, right? WRONG. I spoke about this when I shared with you all how I got my skin back on track after a skin setback. I use this serum every single night without fail. My skin barrier thanks me.

Peach Slices Deep Blemish Micro-darts

I had been a fan of the peach slices acne spot dots for a while. Still, it didn’t take long for me to realize that they didn’t work as well on my deeper hormonal pimples. These recently released micro-darts work overnight on the pimples that haven’t made it to the surface. More of a review to come on this and the next item on this list.

ZitSticka HyperFade Patches

Another product that I’ll be sharing an in depth review on at a later date, but all I will say is I really didn’t want to believe this product would work, but it did!

Kosas Chemistry Deodorant

I have to be honest and say I was not particularly picky about or mindful of the deodorants I used. I’ve used Old spice, Dove, Nivea, a lot honestly. But when Kosas sent over their new deodorant, I decided to give it a try and I’ve become a fan. It’s unique in that it’s a serum. I love that they have a fragranced and a fragrance free option. To be honest, even the fragranced deodorant does not have a strong smell. And it seriously does a good job of keeping my armpits smelling fresh after a workout and throughout the day.

That’s all for my current skincare favorites. What skincare products are you loving right now?
