Sephora VIB Sale Haul and Review

Sephora is having their Beauty Insider and VIB Sale from now until May 6th. As a VIB Rouge I get 20% of my Sephora purchase. Of course, I stopped by a couple of days ago to restock some of my favorite makeup and skincare items. I also picked up some new items that have been on my wishlist for a while. Here’s a full list of the products I picked up from the Sephora VIB Sale.

Sephora VIB Sale Haul
Just a few of the items I picked up from the sale!

Indie Lee Brightening Cleanser and Toner: Indie Lee is a new favorite skin care brand of mine. Their products work wonders for the texture and tone of my skin and I know I’ll probably be keeping this duo in my collection for a long time.

Sunday Riley Tidal Cream: This is another product that I use consistently in my skin care routine. I’ve mentioned it in previous posts about my updated skin care routine and I haven’t traded it out for any other moisturizer. I love that it has ingredients meant to combat hyper-pigmentation. Of course, it also works well to moisturize too!

YSL Instant Moisture Glow: This is another moisturizer that I purchased for a second time. This makes my skin feel so smooth it’s unbelievable. Because it is on the pricier side (but also probably because it is YSL) I use this product less frequently and only before I am doing a full coverage look. It doubles as a makeup base which is an added bonus.

Milk Hydro Grip Primer: This is the first new item of my haul. I heard a lot of buzz about this primer since its launch. It’s definitely different from the other primers in my collection. It feels sticky a few moments after you apply which probably makes the primer grip to the foundation more. I’ll have to try out this primer more to get a good sense of if it was worth it.

Cover FX Power Play Foundation: I have PLENTY (read: way too many) foundations in my collection, but that didn’t stop me from adding another one to the mix. I am the shade N110. I don’t think I am a fan of the squeeze bottle style packaging. Was this foundation the most mattifying, I own? Absolutely not. Will I be keeping it, yes most likely.

Tarte Multitasking Sponge: Believe it or not I have never tried a sponge other than Beauty Blenders. This one is four dollars cheaper and recommended by Alissa Ashley so I figured why not. I may be reaching for this sponge more than a Beauty Blender because it was softer once wet and easier to wet to begin with.

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder: Nothing new here. It’s been on my list of favorite setting powders. I never thought it would run out but it did and so I had to get another one.

Sephora MicroSmooth Face Powder: This is yet another Alissa Ashley recommendation that I bought. I think this product is my favorite of the whole entire haul. I had been missing an all over face powder that would bring my makeup look together and this may be it! Check out my YouTube video linked below to see the powder in action and find out why it’s a keeper!

“Nomade” by Chloe Fragrance: I have been obsessed with this fragrance since it launched last year. I finally got my hands on a full bottle just in time for spring. It is great if you love floral scents.
