If you thought sale season was over along with the holidays, you thought wrong. Ulta Beauty is kicking the year off with it’s Love Your Skin sale from January 3 – 23.
What is the Ulta Love Your Skin Sale?
The Ulta Love Your Skin Sale Event is a three week long sale of select skincare products for 50% off. In other words it is a great chance to stock up on your favorite skincare items, or try something that you’ve been waiting until a sale to purchase. The only catch is the deals for products are set for specific days, so you have to be very mindful of the products you want. I like to add the information for products I’m eyeing to my planner, so I’m sure to not miss it. If you check out the Ulta site, there’s an option to add it to your GCal. While there are tons of great items on the list, here are my top five picks from the sale. As someone with acne-prone combination skin, it turns out that pretty much all of the items on this list are geared towards acne. So if that’s your concern then this one is for you!
ZitSticka KILLA Patch – January 4
Ever feel a huge under the surface pimple coming in and feel hopeless and like you can’t do anything at all to stop it? Well you can with the ZitSticka KILLA patch. The patches use microdart technology to penetrate beneath the surface and deliver heavy hitting ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and salicylic acid to significantly halt the growth of the zit. I’m a huge fan of these patches, and have reviewed them before, but I’m fully aware of how pricey they can be. So this sale is quite literally the perfect opportunity to get hands on them for a test run.
Indie Lee Purifying Wash – January 6
Indie Lee is a clean beauty brand with a ton of great products to choose from, but I especially love their brightening and purifying cleansers. The purifying cleanser is a gel to foam cleanser that removes makeup and impurities. The best part is that my skin doesn’t feel tight or dry after using. It’s a cleanser best for those with normal to oily skin.
ZitSticka SKIN DISCIPLINE – January 17
ZitSticka’s SKIN DISCIPLINE gives you the chance to tackle your skin concerns from within. As a daily supplement formulated with vitamins, minerals, and probiotics, it helps regulate sebum production and reduce inflammation. I tested this out for a month and looking back I saw less breakouts, and for those that did happen they were less inflamed. I will most definitely be stocking up on a bottle or two on this day of the sale.
Mario Badescu Drying Lotion – January 18
An oldie but goodie. A classic. This is the first acne treatment I ever tried and I’ve had it in my skincare collection ever since I did at age 17. The combination of salicylic acid, sulfur, and calamine lotion helps dry surface level zits overnight. You’ve probably tried this product before but if you don’t have a permanent place for it in your collection, now is the time.
Peach & Lily Glass Skin Refining Serum & Super Reboot Resurfacing Mask – January 19
Peach & Lily has some of my favorite skincare products an it’s been great to see the bran expand their line of products. The Glass Skin Refining Serum includes fan favorite ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, peach extract and peptide complexes to even out skin texture and tone and give you the glass skin look after all. The Super Reboot Resurfacing Mask is an exfoliating mask that will literally degunk your skin. It’s formulated with AHAs and BHAs to give you a smoother texture. It tingles when you use it at first. The mask is strong and I wouldn’t use it more than once a week.
