Beauty Products Worth More Hype

We’ve all heard of the “cult favorites” of beauty products. The ones that make the Allure Beauty Awards List. They are always on the best sellers list, have hundreds to thousands of reviews and receive a 4-5 star rating. Maybe they’re even on the featured shelf section of Sephora. Either way, these are products that have earned their way into our mind as one that will always be worth the purchase. I’m sharing with you some products that don’t tend to make those lists but are deserving of all the recognition. Maybe they have the thousands of positive reviews, but I don’t hear as many people talking about them on a consistent bases. Here are some beauty products worth more hype.

Makeup Revolution Fast Base Foundation Stick

Makeup Revolution Foundation Stick: Beauty Products Worth More Hype

The trick is to use this foundation stick as a contour. It is so buttery soft and has a pretty solid shade range since it is a foundation after all. The Fenty Match Stix in Espresso used to be my favorite contour stick. I didn’t think any other product would replace it, but I reach for the Makeup Revolution Foundation Stick (in the darkest shade) to contour because it’s just that SOFT. It requires much less effort to blend in than any of the other stick contours that I own. On top of that it is SO AFFORDABLE. You’ll be able to find this at Ulta.

Cinema Secrets Makeup Brush Cleanser

Cinema Secrets Brush Cleaner : Beauty products worth more hype

At the end of last year, I got my makeup done. Almost as soon as the makeup artist started applying products, I noticed that the brushes she used smelled phenomenal. Days later I couldn’t get it out of my head and I had to ask what she was using. Turns out the amazing smell was due to her brush cleaner from Cinema Secrets. I immediately purchased it.

At the time it was only available online from Sephora but on a recent trip to the store I found out they now sell it in person. I love fast brushes dry after you use this cleaner. It’ll dry in a matter of seconds (or minutes if you’ve got some heavy duty cleaning to do) and it’s good to use on the same day. Say goodbye to clean your brushes because it’s a time consuming chore! Keep in mind though, it does require a container to dip your brushes in. I suggest just using the one that comes with the kit.

Boscia Make Up Break Up Cleansing Oil

This might be one of the more known products on this list. Still, I do believe more people deserve to know about this amazing cleanser. It’s an oil based makeup remover. I’ve mentioned in the past that I no longer use makeup wipes to remove the initial layer of makeup. Instead I opt for this oil cleanser. When I tell you that my makeup literally melts off like I’m the wicked witch of the west…believe me. Or maybe you should see for yourself?

Indie Lee Daily Vitamin Infusion

At this point, Indie Lee is one of my favorite skincare brands. I’ve mentioned how I incorporate some of her products into my skincare routine. This face oil worked wonders for my skin without me even realizing it. How do I know? Once I ran out, I saw my skin suffer. I’m not going to go without this or her Squalane Facial Oil again.

Glossier “Super Glow” Vitamin C Serum

Glossier Super Serums

I’m glad I reviewed this product on my Instagram stories because I actually went to check some of the reviews on the website. I know this product is legit because my mom secretly used the product and told me she loves it and wants to get her own bottle. I’ll admit, although this is a Vitamin C serum, it’s not as strong as some other more concentrated ones. This is not the best product for evening skin tone and fading dark spots, but it does exactly what the name claims it does: gives your skin a radiant glow.

Eyelure Lashes

Eyelure Lashes: Beauty products Worth More Hype

I’m a sucker for some very nice lashes. I love Lilly Lashes to be specific but to be honest, $30 lashes are not sustainable for my bank account. Where do I go when I want great quality lashes for an affordable price? Eyelure Lashes at Ulta. There are plenty of great quality lash brands out there but most of them are sold online only. I really can’t stand waiting for shipping when it comes to lashes. I’ve tried the Definition and Opulence Multipack and I highly recommend. On top of that the lashes come with glue!

Ohii Beauty “Get Fresh” Toner Pads

Ohii Beauty Toner Pads

Toner pads in general deserve more hype because they are so convenient. This one in particular stands out to me because it’s a beauty brand sold in Urban Outfitters. If it wasn’t sent to me I would have never thought to look to Urban Outfitters for skincare. But here I am recommending it to you all. I like to you these toner pads to freshen up mid day on a no makeup day. I may use it right before I go to the gym so I can clear any dirt or debris I picked up up until that point in the day. The grapefruit and raspberry version smells great and it’s so easy to use.
